VF and... Facebook
Hey all.
With Facebook's new "pages" feature, VF now has a home on Facebook. If you have a Facebook account, feel free to "become a fan" of the Facebook VF page. If for whatever reason we must temporarily close the forums, such as during software or hardware updates, we will update our members on the Facebook website, in addition to word-of-mouth through AIM, MSN, etc. In the event that we experience a hardware failure as we did earlier this year (let us hope that never happens again...), the Discussion Board feature will be activated on the Facebook page. We'll also be keeping you up to date on official VF Events, such as the upcoming VF Digital Scavenger Hunt III. Keep in mind that Facebook is different from Visions Fantastic in terms of Privacy: On VF, you created a username that is likely not your real name. As a term of joining Facebook, you likely were asked to use your real name. Keep that in mind before joining the VF Facebook page. It is for this privacy issue that the VF Facebook group's "fanbase" is restricted to Facebook users older than 17 years. Click here to visit the Visions Fantastic "page" on Facebook. Regards, CASD
