Yes and most hotels will let you make a reservation without payment. You usually have until 2 days before the date to cancel if need be. Early reservations also save you money as well.

on second thought... .if the expo is going to be there the same time, we might skip. The hunt would be fun, but being there the other couple of days with not only the free bday people but the expo people too... I get the feeling it's going to be too crowded to really enjoy it

Squeals!! Me and my buddy might come along for this! we couldn't go to the DCA dash because it was canceled so we will be looking forward to this!! I'll keep an eye on this event. hope to see you there!

The Expo is taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center (Not Disneyland) on Thursday, Friday Saturday and Sunday of that week. While I'm sure some of those people will also be visiting the parks, the focus will be on the Convention Center. However, because of limited hotel space, I encourage folks to make reservations early.

Not to mention there will probably be a mad rush on the parking structure. When huge conventions are going at the same time as a weekend this year, parking the first half of the day has gotten real ugly real fast.

Doesn't cost anything to make reservations for most hotels surrounding the park. Get in while you can. If you want Disneyland hotels be prepared to pay for the room when booking. Also you don't have to worry about the parking... you have a reserved spot from the hotel.

Even if you end up not being able to come, you can cancel your room within 2 days of your reservation!
