Request for a CM board

I recently became a Cast Member at the Disneyland Resort.

I was wondering if there could be some sort of CM board group that the CM's can ask questions to others and meet other CMs and such.

I know DISBoards has one of these as well and it is very convienient.

Verifying that people are indeed CM's can be tough because we don't want people to give out personal information, which could potentially affect their job. (i.e. "Hey, you know what Bruce said on VF last week".) Unfortunately we've had incidents in the past where people claim to be CM's and are later found to be lying about it. The best way privately communicate with CM's on VF is thru private messages or connect thru other outside means.

I am sure since you are now a CM and as time goes on, you will find out which CM's are apart of this website by word of mouth. It should be much easier to contact them then.

Yes it would be far easier to meet them in person first before meeting them here on VF. The internet has a tendency to be rather...inaccurate.

There's lots of ways to talk to CM's here, Shoutbox, chat, private message and threads. Just be aware that some people may not always be truthful. Creating an all new board exclusively for CM's is problematic because people would lie to get access to it.

Could it be a whole other group request where you'll have to show some sort of proof? Similar to the Napa Rose Lounge how you will have to request membership

I know DISBoards is strict on letting people into their CM board. I recently got let in to there section, but 99% are all WDW CM's.

Short answer here; no. We have no plans to open a CM-only board on VF at this time.
