Problems with AOL?

Does anyone else here use AOL as their ISP? I'm not sure if it's just my computer, but sometimes while I'm browsing the VF forums, I randomly get booted from the Internet. Also, the VF Radio does not work on AOL. Was VF not intended to be viewed using AOL?

I've started to use Internet Explorer when I come to VF. But I just wanted to know if anyone else had these same problems and I thought it might be helpful to let the people who run VF to know (just as a heads up).

It happened to me about 4 days ago when I was using Yahoo, and my brother got rid of the Yahoo Browser and used Internet Explorer instead, and it never happened so far and now our Internet is alot faster than it used to be.

VF is best viewed in Internet Explorer or FireFox.

The AOL browser has a lot of compatibility issues overall; not just with VF, but many other websites that use cookies, etc. Even if you have AOL, you don't have to use the internal AOL browser. You can easily use IE, Firefox or Mozilla. The AOL Browser is essentially IE, but it's been watered down and has a lot of extra 'features' that may interfere with other sites. VF Radio SHOULD work in a properly configured AOL setup, but the key words here are "properly configured" which may take some tweaking on your end to enable all the features and disable some of the security features that block some of our features. You can also try upgrading to the latest version of Macromedia Flash which may help as well (www.macromedia.com)
