Post Counts, Maturity and Conduct

The VF boards have encountered fantastic growth over the past few months, bringing in many new users. However, with the influx of new registrations, there has been a general decline in the quality of posts on VF. Many posts break multiple guidelines regarding issues like Flooding, poor spelling/grammar and a waste of resources on pointless threads and posts.


Several new policies and changes in existing policies are occuring;


1. There is now a 2 minute "flood" wait between posts. You must wait 2 minutes before you can post another message. This will help prevent people posting messages with two or three words or starting multiple topics.


2. Posts in all forums don't count toward your Post Count. All post counts are in effect "frozen" and you will remain at the same level. We have also done away with "Senior" and "Junior" member statusses. New users will remain at a zero post count until the flooding issues have been resolved.


3. VF Guidelines will be strictly enforced. Many users have been given multiple chances to change their posting habits and have not yet complied. These users will be given finals warnings and then banned for the next infractions either on a temporary or permanent status.

4. Users under the age of 13 will no longer be allowed to register with VF. Existing members under the age of 13 can remain members as long as they follow VF Guidelines.

5. VF Users are expected to a certain level of conduct and must adhere to VF's guidelines in order to remain members.
