PM count in Red?

Hey guys.

I seem to have a problem with my Private Messages.

It says "Unread 2, Total 77" but Unread 2 is bolded in Red.

What is the problem and solution to this? Thanks.

Read the unread messages by clicking the Red text, or the "Private Messages" link directly to the left of the text.

Mine still says I have one unread, but I don't. How can I make this go away?

Because of the server crash awhile back, some people may have "ghost PMs" that either never existed or no longer exist because they may have been lost when we had some issues awhile back.

I don't really have a solution for you, unfortunately.

The issue with the single unread message goes back to a mass-PM system we were experimenting with and things "went bad". One solution is to delete your account and re-create it, but it will erase all of your stats, and your previous posts will no longer be associated with your new account, even if the name is the same.

Thanks. I'd rather stay with this account. I can live with it anyways with these ghost PM's. I wouldn't like to lose the "Join Date: June 2005" title.

Shoot me a PM and I will take a look at it when I have time.

Include how many pm's are unread too and any other info you think will help.

I've noticed that my PMs don't go to "read" status until I reply. So I just hit reply and then if I have nothing to say back I just close out. That always solves mine. Phantom PMs huh.... eerie :)
