Picture in the Signature

Hey. What up people? I tried searching for the solution here and there, but I can't find it. The "insert image" icon wouldn't help me or I just don't know exactly what to put down there. So, would any of you mind telling me how to put a picture on my signature? Please? Arigato.

Well to put a picture in your signature it has to fit in the size limitation which is 400x150 . You need to upload it to the VF Gallery. By Clicking on the "Gallery" and then Clicking "Upload" and then Direct the browse box in the upload to were the file is on your computer. Upload it to Member's Catefgories and you should be all set. Copy the BB Image code and paste that in your signature.

when you go to edit your signature, treat it just like you're putting an image into a post.

like he said though, it has to be within the sizes listed in the guidelines

I doesn't have to be in the gallery, but it has to be on the internet somewhere where it's accessable to anyone. It has to have a url like http://wherever.com/myfiles/mysig.jpg Mine are at photobucket.

Keep in mind that some corporate LAN's, school districts and such may block free hosts like PhotoBucket and SmugSmug. By using the VF Gallery you are guarenteed that the image will show up correctly.
