I think TSM was much better suited as a DCA attraction. It just kinda fit perfectly with the theme of one of the lands.
It has kinda been the idea from the start, I believe even before we found out when Toy Story was in the mix when the name was just something like "Midway Madness" (Or whatever).
Whenever you think of beach boardwalk, one of the many characteristics definitely go to these games; therefore, I think the attraction was much better suited for DCA since it fits perfectly in the land it was put in..
Not to completely disclude the attraction at DHS, they at least changed up the theming and story enough to make it not seem too much like you're on a boardwalk. If the DHS version was a complete look-alike as the one in DCA, it would have just fallen flat on its face as far as theming goes and misplacement.

Is the question would the ride be better at either paradise pier or hollywood studios? the lands themselves in DCA not the park from florida? well if so, i think paradise pier was a better choice! if your talking about the difference between DCA and Disney's Hollywood studios in Florida, then i think DCA is better because it fits better with the theme of the park and the land that it is in. but u also have to realize, there has to be similar duplicate rides in both parks (Disneyland and Disney World) its just the demand America wants. They want to go to the park that is closer. not the one on the other side of the country.

Paradise Pier - theming is better on Boardwalk (Carnival Games) than in the middle of what's supposed to be a Studio park. Whatever - another example of Pixar overhype.

DCA. It seemed to fit in flawlessly.

I think it definitely belongs right next to the midway games. The first time I went on it, all I could think about was how awesome it fit in with the theme. The music and the visuals were all carnival themed, just like the games and the stores nearby. Where else would it fit in? I couldn't possibly imagine it at the laidback beachy paradise pier.
