Smile What animal does Grizzly Peak represent?

My brother in law insists that it is a wolf, but I think that it is the California Grizzly.
Anyone know for sure?

Yeah. The DLR logo shows it definitely as a bear. But if you look at it from certain angles it does sorta resemble a wolf.

Well, when DCA was still in construction. I saw a commerical of DCA back in 2000. The subtitle says coming Feburary 16, 2001, I think. Then I see the Grizzly Peak as the DCA's main mascot. The giant peak howl like a wolf in the commerical. It resembles a wolf rather than a grizzly bear. Did you guys see the commerical back then?

My family jokes that it looks like my dog. My dog looks EXACTLY like a bear. It's weird.

Has anyone ever seen a real grizzly bear? They DO have long snouts and more pointed ears than other bears. Not every bear looks like Pooh! Besides, a grizzly is the symbol on our state flag!

Yeah, but not everyone makes the connection.
