Tower of Terror: AH!!!!!

I went on it for the first time today. I..hated it. I really did. My friend lied to me and said you only drop three times, but you really drop about...300!!!!

BLAH!!!! I was so scared. I hate the sensation of dropping, and not knowing when it's happening was so bad. Ugh.

Hahahaha, just like my sister, she'll never go on it again, she hates it. When she came off it, her hands were shaking.. poor thing, she felt very adventurous that day, but yeah, its a feeling thats kinda hard to get use to.. love it or leave it, but at least you tryed it, rather then not riding it at all.

the next time will be a lot easier as you know what to expect.
try it one more time and it will be more fun.
and it's only 4 drops dayna.....

I really enjoyed that ride. I have my park map from january 3rd 2005 and it has 8 i took the dare stickers on it.

I didn't think I would try this ride, but I decided I might always wonder about it if I did not. So I did and I liked it. My 9 yr old son loved it. The drops were smooth. I can see why it's not for everyone though.

I sooo agree with you Dayna. I've gone on it 2 times and I will NEVER again. Last time I was there I promised before I got there I would go again. I kept putting it off all day trying to get pumped up to go on it. I got a fastpass and everything but once I got in line and about to go in the room with the t.v. I almost passed out! I really can't go on the ride at all!

i love that ride. i went on it proably 10 times with a 4 day pass. I Love It!!

Dayna is right! You drop about a gazillion times and you're in that elevator shaft FOREVER! I nearly had a heart attack by the time the ride was over!

Then again, I almost had a heart attack just waiting in the queue...

FutureDisneyPyro - How could anyone hate ToT? Well, if someone hates drops, I don't think they are going to like ToT. And as chatterbug said, it's not for everyone.

I was shaking the first time I rode it I hate heights so the thought of going so high then dropping in a Elevator did not appeal to me. But becasue I'm a Twilight Zone fan I went on it anyway. I was shaking from adreniline(?) it was a rush, and I was by myself.

The second time I was with these people I had just met, and I screamed and hollered before the elevator went back and the ride started, and that helped.

Now I am a ToT Junkie I'm on that ride when I go. And becasue of that ride I got the courage to go on California Screamin' and anohter ride that I'm to embarssed to say. You all would laugh.

The best thing about that ride is that so many people are afriad of it the line is never very long. I think the longest I waited over the summer was about 15-25 minutes. Certainly nothing like Space Mountain.

Well Tower of Terror does use a wide variety of scare tactics.
if someone is claustrophobic, afraid of falling, afriad of ghosts, afraid of darkness, they will not like the ride.
For all of these factors TOT is arguably the most intense ride at the resort.

Only 2 more days and I will be trying ToT for the first time!! I'm soooo excited!!! I like the feeling of your stomach in your throat, but I don't like heights and I had a bad elevator experience when I was little, but I am still very excited to go on it!! I'll just have to conquer my fears!! LOL

I'm like you Space, I hate the Maliboomer. I think it is becasue you see the scenary as you go up. Not with ToT.

He's quite handsome with a great sense of humor and adventure. He seems to be perfect in every single way..you marry this boy.
