Thanks - those are great! Dumb question - is that DLR or WDW?

Thanks and you're welcome. I thought they were DLR but I downloaded them awhile back. As far as I can recall they were downloaded from their DL downloads page but now I am not 100% sure anymore. I didn't think I would have to remember lol

The picture on the webpage itself is the cartoonish WDW Tower. The videos are all of WDW's Tower as well. This is good, now everyone can see how much DCA's Tower is better than WDW's Tower. Unfortunately, without riding the weak Tower 4 program, you really can't understand how much DCA's current drop sequence is superior.

Since they are WDW and not DLR should I take them off of here then? I thought I was helping in their quest for DLR TOT ride videos but I was mistaken so this isn't helping them at all really lol. Sorry for wasting your time and mine. DOH!

^ It's your website & stuff. If you want to keep it up, that's up to you. Personally, I think it's cool that people here can watch DCA's counterpart Tower in FL.

Yeah, they're of WDW's ToT. That's why they bought back WDW memories for me. I personally like the architecture of DCA's Tower but the seating of WDW's - I feel more comfortable (well, as comfortable as you can in an elevator which you know is gonna drop you 13 stories all of a sudden ) in WDW's seats... there's no bar on DCA's!!! And of course you get more for your money on the WDW version and the setting of DCA's isn't as good as WDW's but hey...

Really...oh sure the ride's length may be longer but is that really a good thing? I enjoyed the mirror scene effect many times more than the 5th dimension room. 5th dimension room seemed like rolling through someone's attic & I could clearly see the track on the floor leading into the drop shaft. That was a let down. Also, WDW's Tower regularly had lines of 60mins+ all day for the entire day. DCA's Tower hardly ever has a line longer than 25mins & those parks charge about the same to get into. This allows many more rides per day at DCA than at WDW. So which version really gives you the most screams for your hard earned cash?

-- Peoplemover "Plus DCA doesn't cram everything worth riding into one small corner of its park" Matt

Unhappy Not Allowed!

I TRIED to get the DCA TOT video on this site, but the administrator said that I wasn't allowed because you are not allowed to FILM it in the first place.

I WASN'T THE ONE THAT FILMED IT!

^ It wouldn't have mattered if you or Abraham Lincoln actually shot the video. The video itself breaks standing rules that CMs have to say for each & every elevator that cycles. RemainSeated.com's video was taken during CM previews before any such rules were established/stated. Did RCPro break the rules by taking the video? Unless they did during CM previews, yes. We don't want to get in anything close to hot water w/ Disney here y'know.

Very good point. The queue area at WDW is better IMP too though. Although I am partial to the outside area of DCA's Tower. But in regards to the actual ride time then you obv. get more at WDW's Tower. They're both great and I love them both to bits. I love how they're both different in looks too. It'd be boring if they looked completely the same. The setting of the WDW one is obv. better too but the fact that they have pretty much any amount of space they want to work with, helps an awful lot. Unfortunately that's something that DL just doesn't have!! It's kinda weird that you can see Cali's Tower from the street... I remember exiting the 5 and just seeing it as we did a right onto Harbor and I was like ***!!!! It's cool though - different. And I had an awesome view of both ToT and Space Mountain (although it was closed when I was there) from my hotel room at the Hyatt!!! I'm so gonna request a room in that tower and position again next year. Maybe higher up though?! Floor 6 was good but 10 would've been even better!!!

I think the WDW version is better and i like the mirror part at DCA but i still think the WDW one is better and the only reason that DCA has shorter lines is because noone really goes to DCA as much as they do MGM Studios and the lines dont matter to me anyway its just the ride i care about but what I like about the Hollywood part of DCA is that it looks more like Hollywood than MGM Studios
