Talking Talking with Crush

My wife and I with a few friends made a trip to Disney on the 28th of June through the 1st and one on of the stops was Talk with a Turtle (preview) we were all amazed Crush seemed to not only know the location of children down front on the "lilly pads but would also move towards the kids that he was talking to and the voice if not the actor from the was very very close it is going to be an amazing show when finally completely up and running.

Yes, I just saw it last week! They were still previewing the show and didn't have a schedule yet. People who got in just happened to be there, or waited until there was a next show. I was amazed that someone's cell phone rang in the audience (which wasn't that loud) and Crush heard it! It was a great experience.

Cool. It would be totally rad if I could go there and see it myself, man. Many of my buds auditioned for playing as him, and I think one or two made it.

...

Okay... my Crush accent stinks to high heaven... ROFL! But I would like to see it soon.

OOT... Is my text highlighted? How'd I do THAT?

I went there! It was amazing! I got a chance to talk to Crush, and he called me Tubulor Tim. He is so cute. Even Dory is in it.

I live on the east coast, but I went to Epcot (in Walt Disney World) and The Living Seas has the same attraction! IT WAS REALLY COOL! I know how it worked. (I won't tell you though unless u PM me. So I don't spoil it for everyone else.)

I haven't had a chance to experience this yet... but from talking with friends who have, it sounds like a great addition to the animation building. The technology seems truly interactive, the cell phone thing really has me intrigued. I can't wait to check it out for myself.

It would have been a fine addition to Animation Building but it wasn't an addition really. It was an addition by subtraction. One Man's Dream was removed to make room for the new movie-inspired Turtle Talk with Crush. Basically, we've replaced Walt's story of himself & the creation of Disneyland with an animated turtle from a money-making Pixar flick who is completely obssessed w/ the word 'dude.' Now you tell me, are we really better off?

Well, by "addition" I simply meant a new attraction to the building. I enjoyed One Man's Dream very much, but I'm open to progress and unfortunately- at least from my last couple viewings- One Man's Dream didn't seem to be drawing too many guests. I think due to the interaction, Turtle Talk lends itself more to repeat viewings- something, I'd imagine, Disney would be interested in.

One Man's Dream was removed????????????? In the animation building? Is this true? Because I LOVED that... Is it coming back? I am in shock.

My niece will like that turtle thing - but I cant stand how that turtle talks. I grew up in Santa Cruz CA, where it always seemed like everyone was trying to talk like that... so to me its like nails on a chalkboard...

Dude, then like totally do some mourning, because this actually happened dude. And how could anyone not love the Crush man moving in? He so totally rocks! [/Crush sarcasm]

If you took a poll of the attendees in a Turtle Talk theatre & asked them "What was here before this show?" You might get 5 people to even respond, hopefully 1 would have the answer .

-- Peoplemover "Hmm Walt's life or movie turtle? DUDE!!!" Matt
