Yep, this is the only ride that really gets to me. I don't get sick, but I get major willies. I tend to stick with the non-swinging gondolas now, but even that gets me somewhat.

I always seem to have a problem with heights. I have a very strange phobia.

If I am standing on a balcony, I will always freak out, wondering, oh my God what if I fell over the edge??!

But when I'm on a Roller Coaster or anything else involved with heights, I feel safe because I am strapped in and I can't fall.

Don't ask me why I have this phobia. Haha

It's not the height that scares me, it's the thought that the gondolas could have a malfunction and plunge us 75 feet into concrete (or into the water)...

THAT freaks me out!

I love it. Strangely, I have a very weak stomach, but the Sun Wheel doesn't affect me at all. It doesn't scare me, either, although it scares just about everyone I know.

I actually get more freaked out by the Orange Stinger for some reason. When I'm on it, I always think of my swing snapping loose and sending me flying, and how much that would hurt.

I LOVE the sun wheel and the swinging gondola is the ONLY way to go! I especially love to take someone who has never been on it, and watch their reaction! I have the funniest photo of my aunts reaction! I will have to post it when I get my computer up and running. I swear you can see her tonsils! Ha! Plus, it is a relaxing ride with a great view

I love that thing. The feeling is great. I agree, the SWINGING gondola is awesome.

The non-swinging gondolas go higher, but the the swinging ones swing and move around.

Yeah, it's two great rides in one! Another thing I love about it is that, when you go on the non-swinging gondolas after becoming accustomed to the swinging ones, it feels like you're going out too far, as though you've broken loose from the wheel and are somehow drifting away through the air.
