Default Stupid Things Heard/Seen in DCA

I know there's a topic like this in the DL room, but I have one that applies to DCA...

My boyfriend and I were in DCA last night watching the Electrical Parade, and when the Blue Fairy came out first in all her glory and beauty, these girls behind started debating who it was, until finally they decided, "Oh, it must be Glinda. Who else could it be?" Excuse me while I chuckle pitifully.

Stupidest thing seen or heard in DCA?

Superstar Limo.

Just kidding! Although, that ride was comically bad.

Actually the dumbest thing i overheard was when i was leaving Golden Dreams, and one guy turned to the other and said "Boy that lady sure did look like Whoopi Goldberg".

I never got to go on it...Does anyone have a video of the ride itself? I thought it looked cute in the commercials...

I don't know if this is really considered a stupid thing...But I thought it was kind of retarded that there are large groups of people who are OBVIOUSLY together on Grizzly River Run & Mulholland Madness and the CMs let these huge groups get in the single rider lines. It sucks for all the people waiting in the normal line and it also sucks for the people who really do go to Disneyland alone.

^ Well if they know before hand that they're going to be split up, ride by themselves, and then rejoin as a group afterwards, you have nothing to worry about. Remember all SR's should ever do is fill seats that would have otherwise been empty. The stand-by line isn't affected at all by it. Does the guy by himself have to wait behind them? Sure, he also had to wait behind all the groups in every other non-SR line in the DLR, what's the big deal?

I guess my point is just that when I was in the SR line for Grizzly, there were three boys ahead of me and when the CM said there was ONE open seat, they said "No, we all want to sit together!" You're right, the purpose of the SR line is to fill empty seats, NOT to try to get ahead of the stand-by line like these boys were trying to do. But I guess it's alright to get in a SR line to take 3 seats that should have been filled by people who waited in the stand-by line, don't you?

It might to some people, but it didn't to them. They were joking about it afterwards and whatnot, but I thought it was weird that they thought DCA was any better. They were in the 16-17 age range, so they meant happy they probably would have said that..

Once a kid wet himself and proudly admitted it to his grandmother near GGR.
