Default Question About California Screamin'

You Know How The Mickey On California Screamin' Is Being Replaced By The Sun Logo?

I Have A Few Questions:

1. Will The Sun Look Like The Sun Wheel Sun?

2. Will The Ride Still Be Named California Screamin'?

Anybody Know The Answers?

You Can Also Ask More Questions.

I'm pretty sure the sun will look similar(Only Smaller) and I am almost positive that the ride will remain as California Screamin'.

all true (upside down?) Well, the refurb of the sunwheel calls for the giant sun to be replaced by a giant classic Mickey Mouse face(hence the name "Mickey's Fun Wheel"). Apparently, the imagineers decided that two Mickey Mouse heads on two seperate attractions would look... well, just silly! So they came up with the idea of removing the Mickey Mouse loop head from CA Screamin' and replacing it with a Sun similar to the one that had previously reigned upon the Sun Wheel. I like to call it the old switcheroo!

As far as I know, California Screamin' isn't getting the same sun from the Sun Wheel as a replacement to Mickey's removal - it's going to be a big Paradise Pier type logo, with a sun incorporated in it one way or another, but not directly the same sun from the wheel.

Gosh it just sounds like so much extra work to move them around.... if that's the only element they are changing on the two rides I say just leave them.
I think the coaster should be "taken over" by Ursula. her tenticals can be wrapped around the whole coaster... there could be some dark tunnels.... it would go with the pier theme, the fact that they have little mermaid stuff in other places.... I just think a villian coaster would be cool :)

Well sort of...there will be a sun, and that'll be the extent of the similarity.

Concept Art? Where? I'm not seeing it. Can you repost it?

Seems like an awful amount of work just to go into changing two small things on two great rides...why can't they just leave them be??

I still don't see the concept artwork.

Anyways, as sad as I'm going to see the Mickey silhouette(sp?) go, it's going to happen because Disney is going to have Paradise Pier a make-over into Walt's characters or something like that, hence Mickey's Fun Wheel.

Sincerely, a brother of a half-demon,
Sesshomaru-sama
