I like the sound of that. They should have made something like that years ago. LOL

I don't have a problem with the name, it just seems to me that the way they seem to be headed with the refurb will take away from the California theme. It just doesn't make sense to change it all to Disney-type themes and get rid of all the the California themed stuff, yet keep the name the same if there are no more California themed things in the park. Maybe I don't fully understand what all is involved with the refurb. Either way, I'm still looking forward to and excited about the changes.

I think the Mickey head on the Ferris Wheel is a great idea. It was part of the Mickey Mouse Club show...where the Mickey Head was surrounding by rotating spikes..i don't know if you could still see it around in the old cartoons. It would be better than the symbolic kind on the Screamin' now. It would really put a "face" on California Adventure.

Not entirely true. Although you have to transfer, you don't need a park ticket to travel between Epcot and the Magic Kingdom. They could have an entrance installed at DCA for guests disembarking the Monorail as they would also need one at the Tomorrowland station. It would make sense to me to be able park hop via the Monorail.

Disney has never added any additional in-park monorail stations in any of its parks since Disneyland's Tomorrowland station because of how doing that restricts access to guests holding valid admission to that park.

Building a stop near DCA but outside the park's gates, for the DGC Hotel let's say, could be a possibility, but that would add an additional stop rather close to the Downtown Disney station. That creates issues with the spacing and pacing of trains around the loop. It doesn't make good business sense to do that.

Second that, there are people who are incapable by any reason u can imagine to walk from one park to another easily, so being able to park hop that way is just brilliant, although, a great inversion is implied cuz they need to make a new station with a lobby of some sort for the people who dont have a hopper ticket, I mean, for them to wait for the next monorail, its easy to do, but costly, cuz they need new ticket stations etc.

The difference is at WDW all of those monorails are outside the parks themselves. They take you to the entrance of the park, not inside it. And why would you go to all that hassle when they can just as easily walk between the two parks. It's not like walking from Epcot to MK.

Dreaming, you are. And why would they make it to where you have to buy a park hopper? They need some sort of pitfall for tourists to fall into, and also, they'd have to build too much when they encourage their visitors to not just around or sit on their butts and actually get EXERCISE.

it has noting to do with exercise but convenience, you walk around the park all day and get EXERCISE. i understand that yes it is somewhat close it would just be nice to not have to walk to a hotel you pay over 200 a night, what ever what do we know only Disney can tell us.
