Come on, think about what you're saying here. Would you really care if fireworks burned down Paradise Pier? Or even all of DCA? Along comes Matt Ouimet afterwards, "Oh, woe is me, what shame it is that... (what was that place called... oh yeah)... Eisner's Pressler Adventure has been destroyed! (What? What do you mean that's not the right name?) Unfortunately, the budget for this park was so cheap, they didn't make copies of the parks' blueprints, and outraged Imagineers roasted some marshmallows over the originals and made some s'mores. I guess we'll have to fall back on these WESTCOT Center plans I conveniently happen to be holding in my hands. Oh, well."

Do you guys think they could launch the fireworks from behind California Screamin'? I made this pic in photoshop to show what it could look like As for Paradise Pier going up in flames I think Disney would fire proof it, they have to had for LuminAria since those fireworks were even closer to the rides.

Cool pic. I think they could launch fireworks form back there. It would create less smoke in the park.

Also, I think Screamin and the Sun Wheel could be use to as a backdrop for projections like Small World. This could be another aspect of a show in the lagoon.

The only problem is that there isn't a whole lot of room back there. It's some backstage area and the street. Now this firework show would get cancelled a lot like Remember, because its close to rides and the backstage buildings.

why not a water show with fountains timed with music
like how RDCT is timed with music
but that wouldnt really fit with a beach theme...

^ I think when it comes to nighttime shows like that, it doesn't matter if the theme goes with the specific area. Fantasmic, for example, doesn't have anything to do with the Frontierland/NOS theme. As long as it fits with the idea of the park as a whole.

I've always thought a fountain show would be perfect for that area. As long as they make it different than the Bellagio show in Las Vegas. I mean, like more than just the music. Use colored lights instead of white, etc.
