Default Is Mickey's Trick or Treat Party really worth it?

Okay, so this has been on my mind for a while now. I've been debating with myself over whether to invest in getting tickets to this yearly Halloween party thing they do at California Adventure. For those of you who've been, is it worth it? Is it as much fun for adults and teens as it is for little kids? Is the experience really worth $42 to go on Halloween night? Is it cheesy? Is it crowded? Are the lines for rides packed? Also, do they have costume contests? Prizes? Are there alot of adults and teens at the park, or is it just basically parents with little kids and those who were dragged along?

Thanks in advance for answering,

Gigi

I've heard that there are going to be rare characters walking around, the most popular attractions will be open, and you can literally trick-or-treat.

It is absolutly worth it. There are tons of adults and teens who aren't attached to little kids. yes there are a lot of little kids too... just like a regular day in the park. There is music, dancing, candy stops, rides, rare characters... it's a ton of fun! We went last year, and are returning again this year :)

I would say yes, you can trick or treat at different stations they have setup. There are some rare characters, as mentioned before. And most of the popular attractions are open, and they are usually a walk on. I went at DCA a while back, and we waited two minutes for California Screamin! The line was empty all night! Plus it's way better to ride it at night in my opinion.

^When I went they had some of the villans, some of the generic characters were dressed up in pirate costumes (mickey, minnie, goofy etc all in pirate attire) there were a bunch of pixar characters, playhouse Disney Characters. Stuff like that, but it changes every year and I haven't been for a 2-3 years.
