mmmm, it would be so cool if it lasted more than 2 minutes unlike the other dark rides, that last merely a minute.

wow, i dont like that they are removing tritons fountain, and replacing it with some meet and greet area. it takes away from the feel of that area around the castle. i liked the fountain. just my opinion.

Well, there was a meet and greet area there before. Ariel came out of her shell, up the hill just a tiny bit, in between the fountains. I am not disagreeing with you though. I really liked the fountains and the area was just beautiful and perfect, imo. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of Tinkerbell...she's kinda a brat.

Well, that's because Wendy tried to score with Peter Pan when she first met him and she's madly in love with him. Ha ha.

However, I'm sad that the fountain is removed as well. I loved that area.

Sincerely, a brother of a half-demon,

That's a real shame... The gardens also fit from the point of view of being so close to main street. you could enjoy them from inside the garden area and from the hub. will that be messed up now by a giant pixie hollow?

I'm not thrilled that the fountains are gone. I've grown up seeing the fountains all the time as kid and teen. But on the other hand I'm very excited for the Little Mermaid ride to open. I'm a HUGE little mermaid fan. I've liked the movie and Ariel since I was 1 years old

Well it seems the ride will be an Omnimover. Otherwise, it has a working title now: The Little Mermaid Ariel's Adventure.

When i was there in the spring, they were already doing a large amount of construction for, what we hope to expect, the little mermaid attraction. Large cranes lowering large pieces of piping and cement trucks making the foundation for a very large dark ride building. The animated attraction on youtube shows how large this building is going to be. will they take out mullholland madness? one this is for sure. This attraction is going to be worth it.

whatch it...

I think the Foundations and the cranes you are talking about is from the GCH expansion... Construction on Paradise Pier West area (Little Mermaid, Goofy's Sky Skool, and Mickey's Fun Wheel) hasn't started Yet.

^Yup that's the Hotel expansion. As for that Ride being an actual ride, I highly doubt it. Imagineer's has no part in any of that video. Its strictly the animators. Most of the ride looks pretty cheezy anyway.
I'm curious to see if they will make any part of this ride underground, because of the limited ammount of space. Mulholland madness will not be removed, the route 66 shop may be, but the coaster will soon get the name Goofy's Sky Skool, as mentioned above by Alex. From the looks of the concept art, the big dome will stay there, and they may keep some of the theater structure, however it may just be easier to rip that up, but the dome ain't goin' anywhere.

I know this may irk those of you who hated Golden Dreams, but if there's a scene in Ariel's grotto, one of her treasures should be one of the Califia statues as a homage to the show.
