Well, just like Disneyland, you need to bring lots of cash! Restaraunts like Golden Vine Winery (certainly the very best Disney restaraunt in the entire resort), Ariel's Grotto, and Pizza Omm Mow Mow certainly have huge prices for each of their meals. But, you can find great deals at the Pacific Wharf dining choices like the Pacific Wharf Cafe (you can also enjoy a free tortilla or sourdough bread). You might want to bring a poncho or something if your going to ride Grizzly. It certainly will get you wet. In fact, I suggest you buy one now instead of at the park because they are EXPENSIVE! Believe me, I have bought three. Anyways, just like Disneyland, try to view the parades. It's a blast! Oh yeah, try the new Monsters Inc and Tower of Terror, some of the best rides there. Don't forget Soarin'! You might want to ride that attraction first as DCA will open that one before any other attraction due to it's popularity. The SunWheel also let's you view some amazing vantage points of not only DCA and DLP, but some of the Anaheim landscape as well. That's probably all you need to know on visiting DCA! Have a great time, you'll have fun!

The rides are a lot more spread out at DCA than DLR. I remember one time at DCA, some girl said "Excuse me, where are the rides?!" It really is a lot of walking to get to the different attractions!

As the person above me mentioned, you can get free tortillas/sourdough bread. I absolutely LOVE the tortillas and one can usually hold me over for the entire day (yeah, I'm a light eater! ).

DCA also had a lot of good entertainment that must not be missed. Block Party Bash and Aladdin are awesome and the Electrical Parade is a classic.

DCA is an awesome park and I'm sure you will have a great time.

You line up outside the theater. There are three levels to choose from Orchestra (very bottom of the theater), Mezzanine (middle) and Balcony (very top level). I suggest getting there at least 20 minutes before the listed show time and sitting in the Mezzanine. It offers the best views. The Orchestra makes viewing the carpet difficult and the Balcony is so high it can make viewing difficult. Don't get me wrong the show is great anywhere, but the Mezzanine is my favorite.

I actaully recommend that you atleast get to the outside queue atleast a half-an-hour before hand. This show is very popular.

Just try not to get trampled!!!

And the biggest piece of info that you need to remember is to have FUN!! some people take that forgranted and say "of course", than they spend the whole time trying to see everything all at once (NOT POSSIBLE), thus losing the pleasure.

i was standing in the middle of both parks and it was weird seeing DCA across from it when i am so used to seeing the parking lot and tram loading/unloading. last time i was there before was in oct 98 and they were building DCA. while walking around i would wonder if i was in the mickey, donald, goofy etc.... section

Go on Soarin' Over California first. It is such a good ride and a great way to start the day.

All I can say is take your time. Don't rush because when you slow down, you realize the greatness of the park. It is much more laid back than Disneyland and you can certainly do a majority of things in a day. I would advise Soarin' as a must, I consider one of the best rides in the resort and I would also recommend Aladdin, Screamin' and Tower of Terror. They are all fantastic.

Don't go on Grizzly River Run early in the morning or after the sun goes down. You will get drenched and you will freeze!
