This pickup may be in part to greater promotion of the 2fer tickets during the offseason. Still, quite an accomplishment for a very young park.

It is great to see what thrills and low quality cartoon overlays can do to fix a park that opened with almost all original attractions.

Oh, not to mention making it free with DL AP, 2fer, and increased use of multi-day hoppers.

I think DLR management would still be more happy if they could actually sell some one-day, full price tickets to DCA.

Oh, and where are these numbers coming from since AB went under? Reliable sources have told me that Disneyland attendance passed MK attendance and has continued to pull ahead. How much can we trust these numbers?

Its from a report by Themed Entertainment Associates (TEA), using data from Economics Research Associates (ERA). Here's a link to articles in the News Center:

I found a link to it on theme park insider.

Good to see DLR still climbing. So, the year before DCA, DLR pulled 12 million visits. With DCA, the resort is now pulling 21 million visits.

As much as I dislike DCA, sure looks like it has done what they wanted.... sort of. They're getting the extra visits, if not selling as many upscale meals as they planned.

Too bad they messed it up so much at opening nad have had to redo so much of it.

Maybe we'll get that 3rd gate afterall.

I would hope they continue with DCA before concentrating on a third.
