It has moved up one spot to #7 on the Top 20 visited theme parks in North America, beating other local parks: Universal Studios (#10) Sea World (#12), Knotts Berry Farm (#13) and Six Flags Magic Mountain (#20). Worldwide it's #13. Disneyland is #2 in N. America and Worldwide.

no it is because everyone that goes to Disneyland goes to DCA as well. im not saying its not great but that is why... DCA has too much to live up to tho. Its big brother is just so much better than him!

It is great to see what thrills and low quality cartoon overlays can do to fix a park that opened with almost all original attractions.
Oh, not to mention making it free with DL AP, 2fer, and increased use of multi-day hoppers. I think DLR management would still be more happy if they could actually sell some one-day, full price tickets to DCA. Oh, and where are these numbers coming from since AB went under? Reliable sources have told me that Disneyland attendance passed MK attendance and has continued to pull ahead. How much can we trust these numbers? |

Good to see DLR still climbing. So, the year before DCA, DLR pulled 12 million visits. With DCA, the resort is now pulling 21 million visits. As much as I dislike DCA, sure looks like it has done what they wanted.... sort of. They're getting the extra visits, if not selling as many upscale meals as they planned. Too bad they messed it up so much at opening nad have had to redo so much of it. Maybe we'll get that 3rd gate afterall. |
