California Screamin' (Now Open)

Hello all, Does anyone know when California Screamin is re-opening. I heard of the small fender bender and was wondering if anyone had some insider info.

California Screamin' is currently being refurbished. There is no definate reopen date, listed as TBD.

It'd better be open when i get there in November. I'm going across the world to the best place on earth and i would love it to be open!!!

Anyone have any clear ideas on what is being done? Is it just the faulty cars and section or the whole ride?

It opens 2006 fall or spring I know I am correct..I heard it directly from DCA..

No one ever really can know they are correct when it comes to things like this... even if you heard it from the park somewhere. I have called the park and gotten very specific answers for things before just to find out a week or two later that what they told me is not true.... so who knows

Anything at this point is a placeholder date, likely to change.

And the attraction's refurbishment extends beyond the brakes, and the two trains involved in the incident (I've already seen multiple trains of other colors [blue, green] being transported back and forth between the Screamin' maintainance bay and the 'vehicle refurbishment center' behind Disneyland).

When I was there last week (18-21) my brother and I took a walk along the boardwalk and right where the tracks are lower to the ground we walked under and a train came zooming by on the tracks! I went "no way!" and had these feelings of maybe it was close to opening but soon realised that was wishful thinking. It was cool to see them testing although I wanted to be on it. Oh well, next trip!

I hope it isn't too long before it re-opens. I mean without Screamin' DCA only has like 3 other rides. They're not gonna be doing themselves any favors keeping it closed for too long.

Hope it's open next Summer though!!!!! It has to be. Doesn't it?!

No but seriously I heard from DCA this past week that its opening in spring or fall..And Matt lol you can go both seasons no matter what you go like 3 days a week..
