Default California Screamin' after expansion

Is the music for the ride going to be changed? It sounds carnivalish, and I don't think it would fit with the new theme of the land.

I think it will fit fine with the Victorian pier. It's still a "fun", carnival-ish atmosphere... so it works.

Well it has a carnival theme, as well as a rock theme, and when I say rock I mean 2000's alternative rock, not beach boy rock. If they could change it up, and make it sound a bit more like beach boy rock, I think it will work out much better. Trust me right now their probably don't have any concern for that right now. I give it a few years and then they might do something, but it isn't too big of a theme mis-match.

I hope they keep the same music. It's my favorite part of the ride.

we rode it once without the music, and it was not great. We weren't even in the mood to ride it when that happend. We just sat there. Music makes all the difference. Who cares what the area theme is, make it fit the ride and you've got a winner. I LOVE the music for Screamin!

^Wow only once? Out of the 40-50 times I've been on it, I've only had the music about 12 times! lol

The 'new' Screamin' will still have onboard audio. Exactly what is the question, but I personally don't think it will deviate too much from the present version.

^ I hope not. I like the current music. It's exciting, and makes people enjoy the ride more! I can't imagine riding California Screamin' with no music. =\

I have ridden it once without music, as well as Space Mountain, and you're right. The music really is a huge part of the attraction.

Screamin's music is what differentiates it from a simple coaster. I doubt the music will go away.

^ Me too. Disney knows people like it the way it is, and that's one of DCA's most popular rides.

Not to be mean, but I am actually excited for the mickey to come down. It looks to Industrial.
By the way, are they going to keep the tubes, are they getting new cars, and is it going to be the Paradise Pier logo and the sunburst or just the logo.
