Your Favorite Part! (Space Mountain)

Note: PrincessChole's idea inspired me to do this thread!

What's your favortie part from Space Mountain? I like the beginning of the ride because the "scary" music begins and we enter this cool red tunnel! I also love the blue tunnel since the lights are flashing all over you. And that illusion they have on the last red tunnel is awesome! It's funny that you feel like you're going sideways, but you're not. Another part of the ride I love is when you enter space and you take a moment to see the projection of the stars above you. Especially when you go uphill for the countdown seeing the asteroids and the stars.

I have only been on it once (yeah, I know) and I do not remember much. The very top of the lift is cool, the music is getting dramatic, and the counting starts.

call me weird But I like the Reentry Tunnel to me it looks like a bunch of Star bursts flying past you, and I also like when you first get in to space after the second lift hill.

My favourite part: "whoosh"ing around the red geosphere in the original Space Mountain.

My favorite part is probably once you're out of the chain hill (with the red lights rotating around the track) and there's that loud orchestral music! I'm not that crazy about the drops and turns after that, but that beautiful music gets me every time!

My favorite part is the entire ride, hehe, lol.

My favorite parts have to go to when you first leave the station and make the right turn as the music starts and you gaze up at the top of the chain lift... That very part gives me chills every single time, I love it!

Also, I have to love the second chain lift because it has the awsome effect and illusion of going into space, and then that very brief moment when you first make it into 'space' and you stare at everything before you make your 'launch.'

this was only in "rockin space mountain" but i thought the coolest part of that was when they show like a neon guy in "space" doing a guitar solo, that was tight it went with the music perfectly

Couldn't have said it any better. That part of the ride is such an amazing feeling. Even though Im sure people miss the old Space Mountain, Im all about the new one.

I like when you're done climbing and you're going up the next lift in the dark. The anticipation of not seeing where you're going but knowing it's all about to happen in a matter of seconds is great.
