If I remember correctly, ODV is Outdoor Vending.

ODV = Outdoor Vending

Thanks everyone for the feedback. At the last minute, I was changed from doing ODV to security on Main Street. It was fun doing something I've never done before. The night was more fun with the 2 other officers with me (who are expierenced).

We only did 4 extreme tasks. One of them was kicking out a girl who was smoking in the middle of the street. The other three was kicking out 6 people who were having sex on the steps to the fake doors/houses. I thought I was going crazy since it was around 2am. In my mind, I was like WTH?!?!? Well, I really don't want to go into extreme detail or say anything further.

Except that I was transferred to the Blue Bayou as a server. So I've been "training" in the past few days and haven't been on. I swear this is a huge step for me and kind of nervous....

We were there on grad night, not knowing that the park closes at 9pm...which isn't big deal, but was curious to know how they regulate "official" graduates...we wanted to stay but were afraid to get kicked out

Wow... You would think that some young people would be able to behave themselves for a mere 6 hours! It's not like they're likely to become easily bored in Disneyland...

It makes me sad when people give CMs trouble like that. Not to mention how it could ruin the magic for all of the other visitors.

Like what ryguy222 said, they were making magic on the steps of the Main Street buildings. Oh, by the way, I meant DL not DLP. I did that because I had park in my mind. Anyway, after what happened last week, I do not want to do that again. Other small things was taking what grads took from the carts. This poor cm working at a cart was crying because guests were treating her like crap. We relieved her of her duties and closed down the cart. We escorted her out and started yelling at people who were making fun of her. Seriously, I just want to hit some of these grads... I heard from other cm's that people were swimming in the river, climbing trees, throwing heavy objects, etc. This was truely my weirdest night ever.

Lol! I would just let them drown and pretend not to notice. Though no one did drown. What I heard was that some CM's did swim in the water to "save" the grads and some CM's were on the rafts "patrolling" and picking up any grads. Not sure if that was supposed to happen but whatever works works.

As for heavy objects, thing like umbrellas, chairs, tables, and even small people!

I'm glad there wasn't any huge school vs school/race vs race/etc. vs. etc. fights. Only small verbal fights because "You stole my girl", "You bumped into me", "You're a [enter word here] and not supposed to do that", "You're from [enter school here] and we don't like you". - Just random, crazy things like that. Note: There was a lot language so I used easy, clean words.

High school kids these days. SERIOUSLY. *sighs deeply*

Though the fact of CMs on rafts trying to get people out of the Rivers of America makes me giggle a little bit... just because it's so absurd to think about at Disneyland.

I can't believe that people would be so disrespectful of the magic. That really irritates me. Talk about grow up!

I dont work there, but when i went in 07 i rode the jungle cruise. Most of teh people were trying to take naps, so the skipper would make some jokes for our specific ages. There was also my fave part when the skipper turned off the lights before going under the waterfall, and was all risque and it went like this- we are going to see the back side of water ( omg) then he did teh utz utz utz techno sounding thing with the lights shining on and off like if we were in a club, and everyone got into it.
