Is it free wifi or do you need to pay an internet service like at WDW?

Is it provided by Disney or is it bleeding in from outside the berm?

Is the Hotspot at Tomorrowland just a wifi signal from a hotel across the street?

This is all interesting. I have thought about and this subject and wondered. I know the PhotoPass Photographers images are wirelessly sent to the server. I also have seen the WiFi routers at the DVC kiosks.

I do not think I would be taking my laptop to the Park. Now my next one will be a much smaller tablet and that one I might consider. Still would be afraid of damaging it, and there is not much need for having it. Only a couple times have I needed it, like a couple weeks ago work called and needed an email sent, so I had to leave the Park and go into work a couple hours early. If I had my computer with me (and WiFi) I could've stayed at the Park for those 2 extra hours.

The Wi-Fi in Pizza Port is a Disney wi-fi signal and is not coming in from the outside. It's a fairly slow connection and its unsecured. Its not really meant for "public use", so you probably don't want to be asking the cashiers/workers about it.

Just out of curiosity, why would you wan't to bring your laptop into Disneyland? Would you really want to carry that around the park with you? I guess I understand a PSP if you're in a long line. Although, it might be cool just to try it out? Who knows.

I always bring my iPod touch which picks up wireless. plus im a convulsive email checker...i just HATE going through the day not checking my email no matter where im at. knowing where the hot spots are will be good for me. the ipod is small so no need to lug around a huge laptop
