Default Whats the better way to go?

I live near San Francisco, so I only go to Disneyland once a year for about four days. I always wondered if it would be better to go for a day every week or two. So, whats better?

I suggest once a year for 4 days because if you go once a day every week or too it may get boring to you and it won't feel as magical to you.

AH contrar Barfownz....
I have an AP, the 1st year I went about 70 times,
this is my 2nd year and in 9 months,
I have made 95 trips to the resort.
it's just as magacal for me,
I'll never get bored of disneyland or DCA.

as for your question csmarc34, I would just do what ever your able to do.
SF is a good distance, if 4 days is the best you can make.
then have fun and enjoy every minute of it.

I agree with Protostars. We have AP's too and go at least once a month...more whenever possible and I actually feel the magic grow each time we go! We always do at least one thing different each time and since we know we will be coming back soon, we do not feel like we have to rush through everything just to get it all in. I think it is much more relaxed and enjoyable if you are able to go more often! Being in San Fran will definetely change the dynamic for you, but if you have the ability to make more short trips rather then one big trip a year I say go for it!

I bought an AP a few years ago and used it twice. I bought one this year for the 50th and set a goal of five visits (one for each decade) before the Homecoming is over. Yesterday was my eighth visit and now I'm hoping to make it 10 by December. Every visit there's something new to experience. The more I go, the more I can relax and take everything in. One time I noticed Monarch butterflies in the trees behind the Pooh ride; yesterday it was a dozen tiny tiny ducklings huddled together in a planter. Last night I waited for the fireworks show tucked under the gingerbread at the Plaza Pavilion. A small crowd enjoyed Ragtime piano as the rain fell. The fireworks were later cancelled, but watching Johnny play piano with a darling eleven-year-old (who did not know how to play the piano) will probably turn out to be a favorite memory. If I had been rushing around trying to cram everything into a short visit (like we did on our one-day visits when I was a kid), I'd have missed that experience.

When I renew my AP I will upgrade it so that I don't have so many block-out dates. As long as I'm in SoCA, I'll be coming to Disneyland as often as I can.
