Default What would YOU do this weekend?

So you have a choice (O.K. I have a choice):

Go to DL on Saturday. I can arrive maybe 10:00 am and spend all day til closing.

OR

Go on Sunday....can't arrive til around 3 or 4 PM...stay til closing.

Maybe Sunday will be slightly less crowded and we can actually do more
in less time ? Yeah right.

Anyway...I'll be there either Saturday or Sunday.... yeah !!!!!!

ummm... i think this should be in the disneyland resort trip planning section, but i digress...

I think that you should go on saturday, sundays are just as busy... COnsider this a rule of thumb... If YOU think that disneyland is not going to be busy, than 5000 other families are thinking the same thing, so then they go, and make the park just as busy. It is summer, this season is always busy. Go saturday, you have more time to play. Plus, I am going to be there saturday! I get to be there in the morning, then again in the evening... I have to introduce mickey to a university, so i have to leave the resort for a while, but i will be back! So great minds think alike...

I'd definitely say go Saturday! The park is still pretty crowded on Sundays (believe me, I was just there last Sunday!), so you most likely wouldn't be able to squeeze in enough rides to make up for the 5-6 hour loss.

go Saturday definitely. from my experience, Sunday will be just as crowded. Not only to u have more time at the park, you can get more done in the morning when the crowd is at its lightest, you can stay longer, and the wait is 29 hours less :)

The Saturday people win. We're on our way. Driving down I-5 this very minute. And tomorrow we hit the park, early if I can get everyone up early for the 45 min. drive Hollywood.

We went Saturday and it was a pleasant time. Temperature was mid-high 80's. We used FP were we could. We actually did everything that was on our must list: Space, Pirates, Indy, Splash,Thunder,Star Tours , TOT, Soarin, Screamin and Grizzly. We saw Fantasmic and Fireworks and Aladin. Not a bad day at all.
We decided that we would defintely go on a Saturday again, especially in the fall when the 50th is over.

It was a pain getting in the parking lot (harbor drive side). They had 6 lanes of cars coming in, but only two ticket booths open. People were getting irritated. Then after all they wait, they made us drive over to the structure and get in line again.

Pirates broked own twice while we were in line before we finally got to ride our third time.

We got SOAKED on grizzly. Money in my wallet was even wet. My wife held most of my 'stuff'. Should have gave her my wallet.

No Candy Cane stay to report this trip because we stayed at my daughter's in North Hollywood. The drive sent smoothly to/fro the park.

That's about it.

both are great, but Saturday would be better since you probably won't
encounter long lines the the early hour, so go for it!!
