I just thought of something: they ought to do candle scents with DL smells in mind, or perfumes and colognes. I mean, can you imagine the possibilities?

Burning rubber: grand canyon and primevil world.
Plastic: Star Tours

They have these perfumes that they make to smell like every day things, ie: crayons, dirt, marshmellows. We should tell them they should make a Pirates smell or something. Mmmm :)

The chlorinated water smell definitely is distinct to Disneyland for me. Also when I smell sunscreen I think of a smell of Disneyland. I think cause so many people wear sunscreen while there that it would naturally give them that sunscreen scent(more like when sweating it off...lol). Also the trains steam is another for me. I love them all....

ok theres a couple REALLY distinct smells in DL, that is, POTC always smells like chlorine and whatever else those dirty pirates are doin',Star Tours smells like an old wierd air conditioner with plastic and Astromech droids, Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor always smells like , well... HEAVEN!!! And last but not least the odd mixture of smells you get when you walk in the main little area in between all the lands, you can smell popcorn and churros and what have ye all mixed up into a lovely little concoction i like to call "the Disneyland smell".

We can put Disneyland pictures, videos, trip reports and audio on the web, but no one has figured out how to capture the smells of Disneyland for internet consumption. The smells are like "Ingredient X" which, to this point, can only be experienced at the park. For me they are one of the essential parts of the Disneyland experience.

I can still clearly remember the diesel smell from the old submarine voyage.

The smell of the running water near the moving animals exhibits inside Rainforest Cafe here in Washington smells just like POTC. That's one of the reason I love to go there =)

I know I already posted in here, but just yesterday when I was on campus walking to class, I was in the vicinity of someone who smelled like Disneyland. It was similar to that lovely smell on Main Street, and other "strolling" areas in the park. Couldn't tell who it was, as the crowd around me was so huge; not that I would've said anything if I'd known. That would've been awkward!

So, maybe someone did find a way to turn Disneyland's smell into perfume/cologne? Or maybe so many people who go do Disneyland use that particular perfume/cologne that the park just starts to smell like it!
