Default What Happened to the Sleeping Beauty's Castle Dioramas?

I remember years ago going through the castle and seeing all of the diorama's telling the story of Sleeping Beauty. A few years ago, it just closed. I have no idea what happened to it, and I'm wondering if the dioramas are still there? Can anybody help me?

Inside Sleeping Beauty's Castle, you could walk around inside through huge stone stairways and arches. Inside were dioramas portraying the story of Sleeping Beauty. I'm wondering what happened to it because where the entrance and exit used to be looks like they have been boarded up.

They were closed after 9-11 because of security concerns. They most likely will not be returning.

I miss the Sleeping Beauty walk-through. I used to love going in there, because most people didn't even realize it was there (or else they didn't care), so it was like my own private get-away. I was hoping they'd reopen it after they were done refurbishing the castle, but no such luck.

I only went inside the castle once. I can't believe it's closed.

I never knew about it until I heard it here. To my recollection, it was never on the park guide maps and I hardly ever walked through the backside of the castle (or walked through the front and looked behind me), so it makes sense that I wouldn't know it existed. It's too bad that I heard about it too late! I've ALWAYS wanted to walk inside the castle!

With the amount of honeycombs and bee hives that have overrun things in there, I wouldn't want to be the one to have to clean it out. Disney security was right in closing it. Can you imagine what would happen if some nut planted a bomb & the castle exploded one day? Unthinkable.
