When you go to DL do you enjoy going with
family, friends, alone, or it doesn't matter as long as I get to go?

Well, I prefer going with my girlfriend. We went last April together and are going again exactly a week from now. I really don't think I could enjoy Disneyland nearly as much if I went alone. Sounds kind of depressing to me.

Friends most definitely. But it has to be with friends who actually want to be there and don't treat Disneyland as just another theme park.

With family, the feeling is different. But my family likes Disneyland so it's cool.

Yes, that's right, I voted ALONE! That way I can go wherever I want, see whatever I want, ride whatever I want, and DO WHATEVER I WANT without all the "Do you want to go here? Are you hungry? Do you want to see this show?" I make all the decisions and it works out great!

I put any because anytime I have an opportunity to go, i go, regardless of who's going with me, because I know I'll have fun because I'm at DL. But you win some, you lose some...

I voted definitely family! My girls are still young enough to share these special times with. I would love going with friends too. I like having alone time, I just don't know if I'd want to spend the whole trip alone, that would be weird.

I really enjoy going with my family. I have been about 11 times with them and I have gone with one of my friends once, that was really fun too. I had to go with anyone as long as I can go just because I would rather go then not go.

I like to go with friends, it's just so funny when they're sooooo surprised that Space Mountain doesn't have loops. Another with my friends is that they all are really fun, so it is never a bore, but the only problem is, I don't see Disneyland as DISNEYLAND when I'm with them. When I'm with friends, it just feels like, a normal day at the mall... with a bunch of rides. Now when I'm with family, or even by myself, I appreciate it SO MUCH MORE. But still, I have ALOT much more of a fun time with friends.

Going with family and Dr. Poop is always the best.

I voted As Long as I Can Go. But I mostly go alone. I can make my own decisions without any hassle from my family when they can't make up their mind.

Thumbs down Any time possible... BUT.....

I would go at any time that presented itself as a possibility. However, there is a time that is very special, and that is when you are with a family member or loved one who GETS IT. That's the time when we enjoy what Disneyland is really all about. It's about getting into that other world with someone who is very special to you, and you both understand that there is something really cool going on between you without even having to say anything about it at all. It's like describing a color or a flavor, you can't do it!

The Not-Lit Meteor said it earlier in this thread, and I couldn't have said it better. There's just something about going with people who don't GET IT that turns it into just another ordinary day in another place in the world... but when you have that certain something... that's the key!!!

i've always gone with my family. it is special cuz I've been going with them since I was 3. i'll go with friends once in a while, it's just hard cuz we all have different routines and stuff. but my parents are getting old and don't really want to do it, as long as I have my little bro and baby cuzins...i'm good

I hate going with Dr. Poop. It's always whatever ride he wants to go on.
