Red face Weight requirements for princesses

My face is a very "princess-adaptable" face and since I'll be going to UCI and majoring in theater this year I've been thinking about giving the face character audition a shot.

My question is this though: are the princesses very petite [weight wise]? Do you wear 2/4/6/8? If anyone's a princess on here or knows the answer it would help a lot!

Because of my bone structure my doctor says that I could never be below a size 8 [6 would render me ethiopianish] so I'm wondering if I should even bother slaving to lose weight for something I couldn't qualify for in the end anyway?

Also, is Mary Poppins bigger than most princesses? I do a stellar, near-flawless Andrew's impression, can sing and look like her, but if she has to be a size 2, my dreams are crushed!

Thanks!!!!

Yeah, they don't have any openings in the Character department right now... just positions for Mr. and Mrs. Santa Clause.

How often do they have auditions for various parades and characters? On that same note, how many versions of the same character/princess do they have on staff? Does anyone know?

well for parades they re-cast CMs every season (about every three months) but you might be able to get more and better info through the phone number posted above

I would love to be Jasmine or Mulan or Pocahontas but I'm not tall enough. If you're over 5'4", you can be a princess. I think it's something like 5'4" - 5'9", I can't remember.

I bet that you have a better shot than I do. I'm 5'0. HAHAHA. :D

I thought that the shorter characters were something to 5'3" and the taller ones were 5'6" to something. I don't remember where I saw this but I swear I've seen it at least twice and every time I look for it I can't find it. I also want to know because I'm 5'4" and would also like to be a character so if any of you guys find it I'd love to know.

i would like to be some character (stitch, goofy, mickey, donald, etc) but i am 5 foot 9 and still growing, so i guess i would be to tall. i hope you can get the princess job. ( would be kinda funny if someone asks what you do for a job and you say "im a princess/alien/ some other character)

I can tell you right now, you're definitely too tall for Stitch, Mickey and Donald. I'm 5'0" and even *I'm* not sure if I'm too tall to be Stitch or Donald! Stitch sees out of his nose and as you can tell from my pictures with Stitch, my eyes are above his nose (However, I've seen his height fluctuate, so there's a possibility that I am at the maximum height limit for Stitch). I'm about the right height for Mickey and Minnie though.

You might be a good height for Goofy. It's been a long time since I've taken a picture with Goofy, so I don't know his exact height. I just know that he towers above me!

Maybe, I'm 5'3". But you're probably still growing. I, probably, am not.

Oh, head characters can be short, I think face characters have to be 5'4" - 5'9". (I know someone asked about this.)
