I like the Asia part of it. Becasue I'm Asian. So, it's kinda cute in a good way.

I love Small World also. I really don't understand people who whine about it. It's got a fantastic song! My favorite characters in it are probably the hippo with the long eyelashes and the Cleopatra girl on her couch.

A small world, is a really nice ride. I am mean its nice to see all the dolls getting along and in harmony. Which is sad, but you don't see to often. I agree with a lot of the posts, that the music is sweet and has a great message to all!

I love the ride! I was at DL with two of my friends, my brother, and my dad in May, and I absolutely had to beg them to ride it with me. I don't get why people are under the impression that it's boring or juvenile, just because it doesn't have non-stop thrills (okay, no thrills, really) or anything. But once we were on the ride, everyone had to admit that they were having fun, haha.

That's exactly right. I saw a recording of a Disneyland TV show made in 1969 Starring Kurt Russell and the Osmond Brothers, and some friends were saying how their parents told them how people were more respectful of each other back then. Even though I wasn't around then I suspect their right. I mean people ridicule Rodney King for saying "can't we all just get along?". If that had been said in 1962 instead of 1992 people would have taken him seriously. Even though there is politically correct language now, it's simply a facade. So a song like "It's a small world" rang true forty and fifty years ago, people now ridicule it as they do Rodney King's "can't we just all get along?"

I was really moved by that, Ezra. It reminds me of my own need to ride it on every visit because my Dad always asks about it. I think of him a lot when I'm on it, and I know that the first time I ride it in his memory instead of in his honor is going to be very tough for me.

It's wonderful how some rides come to have deeper meaning for us.

It's A Small World was one of my favorite childhood rides. I stopped riding it because I felt I was too old for it. But in the last few years I've been riding it again. I guess it's a ride for all ages, not just children.

Another Small World lover here. For the last 6 years we have spent 10 days each year on our annual vacation. We probably ride SW at least 2 times each day. My favorite time to ride is at night because while waiting in line it is so pretty with all the animal topiaries lit. I would have to say it is one of my favorite rides even though it is far from being a thrill ride. It is so fun riding with the whole family and watching everybody become a little kid again. It is especially magical to watch my daughter and grandson and witness sheer delight through the eyes of a child.

What do you mean? My favorite part of It's a Small World is where you go down the waterfall into the cavern with all the skeletons!

I love it, especially at Christmas. The burbling mermaids are my favorites.

My favorite part is walking up to the ride, and hearing the tick tock of the clock outside. It builds up the excitement in me when I first see and hear IASW.

Inside the ride, I love the mermaids, and the hula girls.

Hmmm... Really? They must've renovated it since my last visit... Hehe.
