Trip Report 3-25-06

This has to be the craziest Saturday ever. I arrived at 8:30 AM. The first thing I did was getting a Fastpass for Space Mtn. While I was waiting for the time to come up, I rode IJA and Big Thunder. This was the first time I brought my Portable DVD player in. As the day went on I rode IJA, BTMRR and Space mountain a lot. Later on I watched the first Fantasmic! from the Mark Twain/Columbia dock. Remember Dreams Come True was cancelled due to winds. Then it started to drizzle/ Light rain. It stopped at 11:20 PM. I rode BTMRR 2 more times and Indy 2 more times before heading home.
Trip results:
IJA: 7 times
BTMRR: 12 times
Space Mtn: 3 times
Fantasmic!: Both shows
RDCT: CANCELLED
Billy Hill and the Hillbillies: Watched 2 shows
Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams: No luck
Matterhorn: Attempted but ride broke down
Portable DVD player: LOTR Return of The King, Raiders of The Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade

The day went great as expected. You should consider bringing a Portable DVD player to kill time in a long line. It helped on Space Mtn and IJA.

i see people with portable dvd players in line or listening to their ipods. i took my psp to play games and watch a few videos i put on it of rides i downloaded from here. i have used fastpass many times and i like it. so it sounds like you had a blast the day you went. i went on monday the 20th of march.

I'm just glad you attempted matterhorn. Are you available for next tuesday for a meet (april 4th)? I have a curious question? Why is it that you go on BTMRR more than indy? Hmmm?

Eh....too bad RDCT was cancelled, but MAN, 7 times on Indy and 12 times on BTMRR!????! Amazing!

I do IJA and BTMRR more than once. For example I went on IJA 20 times in the summer. Space Mtn is dependable with the stand by and FP's

I could never bring a Portable DVD, PSP, etc. because my kids would be fighting over it the whole time, not to mention that my wife would never go for it. She would want someone to talk to rather than watch a movie or play games.

Indy had a 90 minute wait that day. And on a futher note there single rider is not there anymore. I did get a FP for it but once. The FP's for Indy were selling out fast.

Wow, the last time I went to DL, Indy had a 45 minute wait and BTMRR had a 65 minute wait.
