Default Track In Front Of Splash Mountain

This May seem Old or asked before But in October When I was at Disenyland, in front of splash mountain there seems what to be a length of railroad track in front of the ride, does anybody know what it was from

I assume you are talking about the track that crosses over ritter Country near Splash and Pooh. That is the Disneyland Railroad.

If you are referring to another spot please be a bit more specific.

And I am wondering what the tunnel is for when you are going to Big Thunder Ranch to Big Thunder Mountain, there is a pond, look to the right and you will see a tunnel....IT'S WEIRD! ( btw hard to see at night! )

It was for the old ride Nature's Wonderland and Rainbow Cavern Mine Train. Those were replaced by Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

If I am correct, I believe those are some remains of the old "Mine Train through natures wonderland". I am probaly wrong, but I always thought it was an homage to the old ride.

i wanna say its just an expansion buffer that is used to help ease expansion due to heat on the path ways but don't hold me to it

It could be an expansion joint. That is about the area where the logs go under the pathway through the tunnel where you drop into the briar patch.

If it's over the place where the logs go under the path, it's probably some form of re-enforcement for the tunnel underneath.
