I went on it the morning after it reopened after the BIG crash. I was scared. But honestly, I think they should keep it. It's a classic. It would be like getting rid of Pirates because there's always that traffic jam at the end of the ride.

Okay, maybe it's not as...deadly...but...c'mon. =D

You people are really dramatic!

IT'S A RIDE! What are the chances of having an accident right after they were just cleared off from the state for safety?

Do you people even know what really happened on the last accident?
It wasn't the fifth car... it involved the empty "engine" car which does nothing, the first, and second car of the train. PM me about the whole shebang! :~)

PS It's a great ride! Adrenaline and fear is the think which makes all rides fun, so why not add a little bit more to your dramatic lives! :~)

besides what would they do with big thunder? demolish it and build something new? ya ok that'll be about a 5 year project. for 5 YEARS that little passage around big thunder to fantasyland would be blocked off. that's just dumb. Big thinder is a cool ride...keep it!

Oh please. 2 of those so-called "accidents" were rear-endings in the station area when no one was riding it. The accident where one man died and the front locomotive derailed was unfortunate, but those problems have been corrected. The ride is as safe as a ride can be & remember that all roller coasters are inspected daily for repair needs. If you really want to be concerned about your safety on something, go look up the statistics on accidents on CA freeways.

things may be over looked in inspections i mean if it is so safe why is there those accentents if repairs and inspections are so advanced than(even if there is no one in there)they should not have happened

i think they should just refurb it and update the ride software and bring newer steel for the ride, like they did for space.
