Those darn winds.....

I'm going tomorrow. I was just wondering how the winds have been. We've had some weird weather in San Diego (one minute it's sunny then it's going to rain, it's also been windy at times). Has RDCT been cancelled this week at all? Thanks!

Hi my name is Christopher And I am assistant Lighting Tech and Show Control For Fantasmic no the fire works have been not been canceled as far as I know I have not been at work for this week but to day I am we are expexted to have RDCT for that night you come but please be advised that it can still be canceled.

Chris: Well, since you work at Disneyland as a pyrotechnic expert, I know that you know that the shows at the park are weather permitting.

I was at Disneyland on Monday and the fireworks commenced as scheduled. Unfortunately I had school the next day, so we had to leave early. However, I could see the fireworks as we left. All I have to say is, it's REALLY amazing to see the fireworks from that perspective. They looked A LOT bigger than they do in the park!

far as i know the rdct fireworks has not been canceled. i take my police scanner and i listen to all the calls at disneyland and dca. its fun to listen to it so i can see what is going on for that day. or what rides are closed or if there will be any fireworks. i went on day and the winds were so strong they canceled the fireworks.

Nope, the fireworks were not cancelled last night. They made the "may be cancelled" announcement, but they went off as scheduled.

You think the winds are bad in California, Imagine if you were in Kansas. Fun stuff. But I love those fireworks!
