Things You Do on Rides...

My absolute favorite thing is to be at the parks on a slow night, and pick either Splash Mountain or Pirates, and see how many times the CM will wave us through to go on another ride when there's no line.

The most I have gotten in a row were Splash and Pirates, each 3 times. It was faaaaan-tastic! I especially love having a boat all to ourselves, it's so peaceful and quiet. No screaming kids, no talking parents, nobody yakking to each other and using cell phones as lights in the dark caves, nobody taking flash pictures... it's just you, the smells and the sounds and the sights of the ride, and nobody else in the world. That's when the magic really takes over, and you're in a different world for that time.

I have only done that on those two rides, although I am sure they'd do it on Space Mountain, Big Thunder, etc. as well.

It's too bad that you can't just keep riding around on Haunted Mansion, that would be so great!

My brother gets the driver's seat in Indy when we are in the front row and we yell at him when things go wrong. Last time, when the car stops near the end of the ride (before the Boulder Finale) he yelled loudly "No, I will NOT stop and ask for directions!!"
We dont try to annoy people, we just try to have fun.
Also, I duck at the beginning of Indy so Im not tempted to look into Mara's eyes, then blame it on someone behind me in the car when we head for the Gates of Doom.

I have jam sessions to Grim Grinning Ghosts on HM and also on Splash Mountain. Also, on Pirates I have pretty much memerized the entire "Dead men tell no tales" speach and I always say it lol. Oh, and on Haunted Mansion I scream in the elevator to try and scare people :)

There are a few things I do on certains attractions, that need to be left unsaid here

1. On BTMRR - The Goat Trick, try to touch the hanging possum, catch the water droplets from the waterfalls and stretch out my arms at the end of ride (if riding solo).

2. Also on BTMRR, try to ride during Fantamic fireworks.

3 On Matterhorn, growl back at Harold, stretch out my arms at the end and try to catch drops of water.

4. On Pirates, always raise arms for the drops and after the first drop sing and clap along with the song loud enough to try to get others to join in.

5. Enchanted Tiki Room - Take in a Dole Whip and always sing along.

6. Davey Crocket Explorer Canoes - Row until my shoulder hurts and then stop even if every one else is still rowing! No, really, I try to make it through but sometimes you just can't.

7. Mark Twain - I always take a baggie with little pieces of bread to thrown down to the ducks near the Hungry Bear. The ducks will follow the boat. On the backside of the River, I go up to the top deck and watch the paddlewheel and listen to the stacks.

8. Horse Drawn Streetcar - I try to ride when I see the Dapper Dans are getting ready to hop aboard because then I can get a really nice ride with a little concert. Whether or not the Dapper Dans are riding, I always pet the horse at the end of the ride.

9. Indy - When Indy is hanging by the rope I always shout for him to jump and get in. Duck when the darts are flying. Scream when the boulder starts "rolling". I also enjoy looking at the guys in the Indy costumes before boarding!

Hmm, let's see here. I....

1. Hold onto my phone and ipod with my hands in my pockets on the drops of POTC
2. Request the very last row on BTMR and touch the water falls.
3. Do the countdown on Space Mountain with my hands and close my eyes for the flash.
4. Try hard not to curse when on Matterhorn especially during the sharp drops on the Tomorrowland side.
5. Listen to my iPod while on Autopia. What? I need my driving music!
6. Point out the two cats in POTC and get my sisters' attention because I joke that the cats are them and the pirate's my step-dad.
7. Mouth the whole Haunted Mansion ride from the queue to Little Leota.
8. Always shout out whenever my shoes get wet on Splash Mountain.
9. Swing my legs back and forth while waiting for the Maliboomer to shoot up.
10. Put my feet up on the middle thing of the raft on GRR.

I try not to be too much of an annoyance or get annoyed but others on rides. We're all trying to make the very best of the trip. But it's almost impossible for me to...

Get on Hanunted Mansion without reciting the lines along with our Ghost Host, Get on every fantasyland ride -- one right after the other, scream at the top of my lungs at the Screamin' launch and take in a deep wiff of the smells on Soarin'.

When music on CS goes out we sing the song (nah na nana nanana lol you get the point)

Talk about which silly face we are going to make while in line for rides that take your pic.

Just a couple things that I do with friends..

Like I said it's all about having fun, if the ppl your with are just as nutty as you it makes the fun 100 times better :)

Hmmm...here are mine
1. I always (and not purposely) wind up letting out a little scream when I get to the yeti on the matterhorn, I am just a really easily startled person.
2. I always have to drive the car in Mr. Toad's wild ride.
3. I always try to get the purple tea cup, a purple autopia car etc.
4. I usually sing along to a ride's song if it has one, but I try to do it politely lol. I love when everyone on the boat in POTC sings a pirate's life for me.
5. Dole Pineapple Whip+singing along in the Tiki Room=Perfection
6. Always have to have the souvenier popcorn tub at the parade.
7. Every visit requires a stop at "Disneyland the first 50 years" and nostalgic dorking to follow.
8. Eating loaded potato soup at the carnation cafe is a requirement of any trip.
9. Another requirement is riding on the Disneyland RR and taking a full circle (and sometimes a few full circles of the magic kingdom) and dorking with nostalgia when I see the dioramas of the Grand Canyon and Primeval World.
10. Always have to go visit Minnie and Mickey...I just have to!
11. Seeing Aladdin at Hyperion usually in the upper level
12. Ride with my arms up on BTMRR
13. Decorating cookies at the Reindeer Roundup when we go during the holidays.
14. Always ride Small World multiple times and take lots of pics and of course sing along...yes I am a IASW freak!
15. Lean in/out/around the vehicle in Buzz Lightyear AB and get excited when it slows down sometimes to try for more points lol. And my mom and I email every single photo home even though we go on it a ton of times lol
16. Stop in at least once and watch the mickey cartoons on main street.
17. I always cry and dork during the fireworks...every single time.
18. I always stop and listen to when you wish upon a star inside the castle.
19. I always fly my dumbo way up then way down etc. lol same on the astro orbitor
20. I always read the plaque entering disneyland out loud when I enter it for the first time on any trip.

Those are the ones I remember currently, but I'm sure there are more. :)

I try to go on Splash Mountain at night during Fantasmic! because it's really beautiful, especially when you can see the show right before you fall in the drop to the Briar Patch.

Go to Finding Nemo: Submarine Voyage first because we don't want to wait for a long time.

Talk like Jack when on Pirates of the Caribbean.

Get a Pineapple Dole Whip before you wait for something for a long time.

Go to Angel's Courtyard.

Value the time I have with my dear friends.

i have tons:
1. repeat the lines in the first room of HM and stand in the middle of the room and scream AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE when they show the skeleton hanging from the ceiling
2. duck in the darts room of Indianna
3. ALWAYS count down on space mountain
4. Scream AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE on Thunder, Space, and MAtterhorn
5. When your heading up the mountain on Thunder with the goat at the top we always start chanting "Where's the goat?" over and over then when we pass it we all point at it screaming GOAAAATTT!!
6. We ALWAYS try and come up with a planned pose for EVERY ride with a picture
7. Raise your hands on every drop on TOT so that you lift out of your seat
8. Walk down main street singing, "I'm walking right now the middle of main street USA..."
9. Count the number of matching families (even though we sometimes match for fun) and the number of mullets
10. Sing along to Pirates and Splach Mountain
11. Repeat every line of the movie for TOT
12. Try and get as close to the door as possible in TOT in the movie room
13. Having my cousin "party-boy" dance in the middle of crowded areas while we film it all, laughing histerically
14. Try and splash the other person sitting next to you on THunder when you go up the first hill

can't think of any others at the time....


and p.s. I LOVE screaming on the rides, and I LOVE when others join in, if people have a problem with it, sucks for them! Have alittle fun
