Things you absolutely MUST do at DL - Page 2

I always have to get a Churro right before we ride the HM at the cart in front of the attraction. That is like tradition for me...and of course I have to wash it down with a mint julep from the Mint Julep Bar in the French Market....YUMO!

get to Disneyland 1 hour before they open, then go to Fantasyland ride the rides, then go to the rest of the rides, I must see the parade, the fireworks and Fantastic and I must find a good place to go eat and buy lots and lots of snacks :D

While on a trip to Disneyland, I must...

Pause for a moment under the "here you leave today" plaque on the first day of the trip.

Watch Steamboat Willie in the Main St. Cinema.

Have a Dole float while watching the Enchanted Tiki Room show.

Drink mint juleps on the deck of the Mark Twain Riverboat.

Have breakfast every morning at the River Belle Terrace, and have the Mickey Mouse Pancakes for the fist breakfast of the trip.

Get fortunes every day from Esmeralda and Shrunken Ned.

Take the grand circle tour.

Sit a spell in the Court of Angels.

Ride/visit the Class of 1955.

Go hard, open to close, every day.

Pause for a minute, in the evening, in attention to the lamp burning in the window of Walt's Apartment.

Let the Haunted Mansion be my last ride of the trip.

Take a last, lingering walk around the park on the last day, after the last ride, pausing on the steps of Main St. Station to look back down to the castle.

... Jeez, that's more rituals than an average church service...

the only things I must do are;
-visit my brick in the esplanade
-watch musical chairs at 2:30
-try to watch Parade of Dreams (since sometimes the people I go with don't want to watch it)
-say goodbye to Walt (his apartment) on the way out

Everything else I do during the day is pretty random. :)

go in a big group, go on HM, and take pictures of the people ( you know) in front of you when the doombuggies flip around!!! my mom always did that. it made for fun pictures and memories

Actually, there's one I forgot to add to the first post.

Whenever I go with a particular friend, he likes to perfectly imitate Goofy's scream during the last few moments of the stretching room in HM. So, if anyone ever hears that while you're there, you'll also probably hear some girl laughing, and that would be me XP

the first thing i do when i get to dl is:

tender ride at least 3 or 4 times in a day

dole pineapple while i watch the tiki room

go on the 4 major mountains of anaheim

ride the nemo ride

ride the pirates of carribean

and what ever else i decide to ride before i go home around midnight

I'm used to doing Pirates first. I also can't leave without a pin or a new set of Mouse Ears. Anything else doesn't really matter, so long as I have my full day at the park, I'm a happy kid.

Oh and let's not forget the coveted churro!
