Things you absolutely MUST do at DL

Is there anything, be it going on a ride or getting certain foods, that you feel like you absolutely have to do while at Disneyland?

Me, I have to ride the Haunted Mansion at least twice(quoting the ride word-for-word the entire way >__< ), and get a giant pickle. When I was little I also found it necessary to go through the Sleeping Beauty castle at least ten times, but that's closed now so I cat do that. ;__;

What about you guys?

I always make sure I go on all of the thrill rides many many times [I dont have a certain number or anything, I just go on them as many times as I can]... go on most of the kiddie rides at least once- sometimes twice. [When I say most.. there are a couple that I just don't go on.. ie: Nemo, Dumbo, Carousel, astro orbiter].

I also always have to get a chilli bread bowl from the Golden Horseshoe, and of course eat a Churro [or like... 4]! Yum!

lol, last time I was there my friend got, like, 6 churros at once XD

I've never gotten any of the bread bowl soups/chilli before anywhere in Disneyland. I think I might next time I go.

Yes, the gumbo is wonderful!

I must:

Say hello to Walt.

Look in the windows of the Main Street Emporium.

Listen to the party line in the market, get my fortune from Esmeralda, and watch the animator in the window of the clock shop.

Look in the Disneyana shop.

Watch the Disneyland Band.

Take a ride on the Horse Drawn Trolley.

Listen to any and all bands that are there from day into night.

Enjoy a Dole Whip and the Enchanted Tiki Room.

Ride Big Thunder as much as possible.

See Remember fireworks.

Spend time on Main Street after closing.

Say goodnight to Walt.

Take one last look at the clock above the Main Street Train Station and say, "I'll be back!"

i always like looking at my brick in the plaza. also, getting a dole whip and going on pirates are absolute musts. last time i finally tried the gumbo so from now on that'll be a priority too :)

I used to refuse to buy snack items (I'm very conservative with money).. but once my mom bought my siblings and I our first Dole Whips.. oh man was I hooked!
From then on, I would get a Dole Whip either every or every other visit to Disneyland (mind you, I used to visit about twice a month).

As for rides, my sister always insisted on Space Mountain. So a FastPass for it was pretty much mandatory each visit.

I always get the frozen bananas too, but I can never find them anymore!

I used to always get the frozen bananas too but now it seems by the time I find a cart that sells them, they're sold out. The past two visits [i'm not local so it's not like I go all the time], I haven't been able to get one.
