Default Talking windows

When I was a child there were windows on Main Street that you could hear stuff. One was a dentist. I seem to remember a man showering, and maybe a piano lesson (not sure about that). Then a couple of years ago, I noticed that as you left Peter Pan you could hear Peter saying "up up and away". I was just listening to VF Radio and there was a segment that had a New Orleans window.

That got me thinking. Where are all the windows at? Which ones still exist? When is the best time to listen to them?

I'm coming down this summer and it will be pretty impossible to hear them in the height of crowd traffic, but maybe first thing in the morning would be a good time to find them and listen.

They can be found in the alley to the right of the "Market House", just before the lockers.

The dentist, piano lesson, and shower are just off Main Street by the lockers (as noted above)

There are a few in New Orleans Square. One is a lady and her bird.

I can't recall in ToonTown but I know there is some talking windows in the Roger Rabbit queue.

In addition to track 7 French Quarter Window, VF Radio also has track 15 The Piano Lesson and track 12 Market House Party Line & The Dentist's Office. All of them are terrific.

They also have telephones you can listen to. Pick up the arpiece and listen to the conversations. One of them is the fire staion with a lady calling them about her barn burning and the chief is hard of hearing.

The area by the lockers are a nice area with tables to sit with an icecream or something an listen to the sounds (shower, gargleing etc...) coming from the hotel window.

I love that area by the lockers.

I think the window in New Orleans Square is around the back of French Market, facing the bathrooms.

What???? In all my years of going to Disneyland, I have never heard of these windows except for the one in New Orleans Square. I have to check this out because I'm really curious now.

The New Orleans Square train station also has talking windows. They are to the left if your looking at the station on the other side of the tracks. Best to hear those as you are coming into the station on the train.
