I just saw a rare screening of the "Song of the South" yesterday, and the rides details are almost exactly like they are in the movie's cartoon segments, like the fences, trees, they even got the scene where Brer Bear is caught in the trap directly out of the movie. Even Chikapin Hill has Brer Fox's little looking hole in it.

My friend and I were at Disneyland yesterday and we got soaked on Splash Mountain! The funny thing is that we got wet where there were no drops or any "waves" of water comming in the log. It felt like someone poured a bucket of water on us. Can castmembers do that?

From those other Splash Mountain photos, I just noticed the 50 on it!

Gah, I'm horrible at spotting those things.

Default Never doing single rider again. period.

sorry it is long but hey it was horrible plz read!

the last time i went on Splash, i thought yes finally i can get wet!.. so i went on single rider, i dont know what side of the bed the Splash crew got up on but they were the most unhappy group i have ever seen!i really really like the front, so i nicely asked the lady if i can wait for it. then she said in a snooty tone, i dont think i can acominate that! and i gave her a look like, gosh just a question.. then another lady came up to take her shif, she told her, this girl wants the front, But i dont think i can acominate that! then the other lady was all culeless. then i waited for like 5 minutes till i got to go on. now im not being mean but i got stuck in a log full of Spanish speaking tall headed people. it was so depressing, i sat in the back of the log with my arms crossed the whole way(execpt the big drop ). and even through all that we didnt even get to see the picture! it got "lost" i dont know what they did but i dont want to find out.. all i kept thinking the whole day was , what if this was my first time to Disneyland, she could of ruined my whole trip (she ruined that trip on slpash for me!). i think next time people work at the happiest place on earth they need to take happy pills!

and did i mention worst experienc on splash i ever had?! oh and i didnt get wet..gr

Sorry that the CMs were rather clueless there. They should have just calmly explained that you cannot request a seat from the SR line. I don't mean to sound insensitive at all to you TowerGal, you have my sympathies really, but if you use SR again on Splash, expect to sit in the back. That's just how it works usually I'm afraid.

Alas, 98% of the time I've used SR for Splash, I've gotten the love seat in the back. I like it because it's spacious & roomy & I can see everything over everyone.

I love the love seat! Somehow, I had never sat in it until the last time I went on that ride, a few weeks ago. Now I never want to sit anywhere else!

I havent got to try out the love seat on Splash yet, everytime I go on it, I get stuck somewhere in the middle, never the very front or the very back.

I always ask for the front on Splash, you see most of the scenery, get wet the most, and you can almost conduct everything from the front, like how to take the picture you want to see!

"there is a rule?"

It isn’t a rule per se. But the grouping CM/s generally group front to back. You have no contact with these CMs. SR guests simply take whatever is leftover after stand-by and FP guests.
