Not only is Splash Mountain a great ride, it is also a tribute to America Sings.

I was wondering if anyone can back this up. I heard that ont New Years, most of the critters in Splash Mountain get party hats and those little blower things. Is this true?

Haven't heard anything about it splash, but that would be awesome! I TOO LIKE TO MAKE DIFFERENT POSES, I MAKE IT LOOK LIKE I AM ADVERTISING AND GIVE A THUMBS UP AND SMILE AT THE CAMERA, I TELL EVERYONE IN THE BOAT TO DO IT, AND IT COMES OUT GREAT!

I have also heard that there is a sign at the bottom of the final drop. Does anyone know what it says?

I read this off the back of the "101 Things You Never Knew About Disneyland" book, so it should be true. I didnt get the chance to look at it in the book.

I love the dark room, the one you enter after passing under Brer Bears hinder... i love those tiny hills. Oh, and sitting in the back is my favorite. I sat in the front the last time i was rode it and i was covered in disney-pee-pee water. :/
