Default Splash Mountain

Does anyone know if Splash has re-opened since the refurbishment?

I heard that it will be open by the 18th, and they were advertising that people who paid the $1500 would be able to ride it, along with all other rides in that end of the park, during the time before the premiere starts on the 19th. It is not on the "down for Refurb" list any more... maybe someone can get something more official??

General refurb stuff that come around every so often. Replacing the lift conveyor belts, doing some touch up work here, there & everywhere. Probably some work on the AAs themselves in the show buildings. Just repair from the general weathering that happens over the course of time.

I did notice that the audio animotronics do need some work from the last time I've been there.

They usually go out of the way to enhance the experience or add a little something new every now and then during a really long refurb. The last time Splash had a refurb this long I returned and was pleasantly surprised to see that they added the baby possums before the 2nd waterfall. I highly doubt they changed anything major though, the ride is practically the same since it opened back in 89'.

That would be cool if they took another 5-6 peroid later and revamped it.

Yup. On the attraction list near the entrance to Adventureland however, it said it was closed. Maybe soft openings? The ride is basically the same as before, just greener grass, and I'm pretty sure that theres a new Brer Rabbit animatronic before the big drop.
