Did you know that Splash Mountain is the largest logflume ride in the world it is a 52 ft. drop to the bottom and Disney Worlds Splash Mountain is the second largest.

I knew it was the tallest but I always had a feeling it was the longest. thanks for the info!

Are we talking large as in the total length, or drop height? Cause Tokyo Disneyland's Splash Mountain has a 60 ft drop, and is the longest version too in terms of track length. It also has the highest "mountain" at 99 ft, compared to 87 ft for both Disneyland's and WDW's version.

Yeah, as WDWmickeyfan mentioned, it's not the longest in drop length. I believe Perilous Plunge at Knott's holds the record at 115 feet.

i never knew this but POTC has a 52 ft drop too but it is at a 21 degree angle when splash mtn is at a 47 degree or something like that

Splash is the only ride that can make me scream (in terror and fun, of course lol) at the very top. What a great ride!
