Space Mtn question

On 3-17-06 I was on Space mtn when It stopped. The CM's said it was because of traffic jams at the stations. One by One each rocket went back to the station manually by 2 CM's. The work lights were on. Does this happen usually? After that we were allowed to ride it again.

This rarely happens, MC. Dont think it happens alot. I cant beleive you went on Space mtn more times than indy!

in the old ride, if 6 trains were in the station at the same time the ride went down like that. I think it might be the same for the new ride. If that 6th train enters before the one up front gets out, kaboom. send out the CMs to push start the cars inside the ride one by one.

Thats what happened. Apparently It was almost done when that happened.

BTW Barfownz I went on BTMRR more than Indy.

BTMRR: 7 times
IJA: 4 times
Space mtn: 2 times (the 2nd one thanks to the CM's of Space Mtn after Space Mtn went down after that.)

Lucky! This has only happened once while I was there, but unfortunately I was still in line. I thought "Man, those lucky people who are in the ride!" I've always wanted to ride Space Mountain with the work lights on! People probably don't share my same enthusiasm, but consider yourself lucky!

Ummm... dude... rides break down. When you have thousands of guests riding the ride a day, it's bound to break down some time or another.

This "luck" happened to me twice. This one were talking about and last year when IJA broke down. And it was an emergency system I believe that caused it.

I talked to a CM about Space Mountain breaking down, and this is what I was told: The maximum amount of ride vehicles they can have on the track at once is 11. When they run 11 vehicles, people need to load/unload at a relatively quick pace. If things start to slow down too much, the ride will E-stop. Then it usually takes about 20 minutes for the system to restart.

It took 15 min to restart the ride.

Holy Bageebers! I knew this was coming. So MC, are you done with indy? What is your new apperence? I just saw your avatar. I still want to know as the guy who dresses like indy and loops indy all day.
