Default Space Mountain Soundtrack way off!

This has been bugging me since Friday, but when I rode Space Mountain, I was seated in the back row of the second rocket. The music was pretty sychronized, until lift-off. The music was a little off, because it was over 3 seconds before we hit the retry tunnel. Is there a reason for this?

I have noticed the problem as well. It's throughout the ride and is sort of corrected before the "big" drop.

how off key is off key? never experienced this problem before but I bet it has to be the computers that control the sinc. of the music.

^ Off key refers to the pitch of the music (in layman's terms, sharp or flat; technically, the vibrations per minute of the note).
Synchronization being 'off' refers to the timing of the music in relation to the ride itself...
You're referring to two different things.

And yes, I noticed this on my last visit as well.

Wow, I went on Space Mountain twice yesterday, but I didn't really notice the music was off.

Wow, thats something I couldn't miss, that would bug the heck out of me.

But the vid that I saw on youtube might explain a little bit about how its timed. I know someone already put a link to the vids up, but just one more time so people dont have to changes the page to go to another

But you'll notice that the music will kick in after the cars has gotten to a certain point on the track. So yeah its just just part of how the sync system works I guess.

The off timing doesn't really bother me though. I love the song all over so I don't care about the flaws. If there is a flaw w/ the coaster track and the music, ok that's different.
