Talking should they have pal mickey at disneyland

I think they should have pal mickey it would be nice to no when all the parades are and speacial events are. Just because disneyworld is new doesnt mean they have to have it.

do you think so post on this thread there is no other place like disneyland it is the best place in the world with all the rides and they should have pal mickey.

I don't think this belongs in the California Adventure topic but...
I think that Pal Mickey should stay in WDW because it is so big and so many things go on in their four themeparks that a tourist would actually value and rely on it. Disneyland is smaller and the only things that realy go on are the parades and the fireworks which happen twice a day (I think). Well....yeah. That's my opinion.

^^i agree. WDW doesn't have PalMickey cuz it's new but because it's so big and has many different shows happening in the parks and outside of the as well. Disneyland doesn't need that though...a map is perfectly fine

Hmm.. what's a Pal Mickey? I know what it does from context, but what is it, exactly?

According the Disneyworld site:

"This huggable, interactive Mickey Mouse plush will let you in on insider park tips, give you parade and showtime reminders, tell you when your favorite characters are nearby, and let you know about short waits at your favorite attractions.
"Innovative technology ensures that Pal Mickey knows where he is while exploring the four Theme Parks, and he will share information with you at just the right time and place.
"The entertainment continues outside of the Walt Disney World® Resort and even back home, where he will share his jokes and play three interactive games."

It does sound cool. I agree with Caseyr333, I wish they had Pal Mickey here.

A Pal Mickey sounds really cool, but it seems like it would be a lot more useful in WDW than DLR. But if I could buy a Pal Mickey at DLR and then use it at WDW too, then sure, why not have it here? I'd love someone to tell me when my favorite characters are nearby!

I think it sounds cool. I would want to use it to see when different characters are near by. I can be so oblivious at some points that I could walk past a character and not even relize it.

Heck yeah they should have Pal Mickey at DLR. He can tell you all the inside stuff of Walt and how the whole "Disney Theme Park/Disney Company" flourished with this park. As you walk by certain things he could say, "Hey there Pal, did you know that when you walk by the candy shoppe and no candy is being made, we pump out the smell of vanilla to make you come in and buy candy? Ha, ha!"
That would be awesome!

Well here are shows:
Aladdin at hyperion
Aladdin at adventureland
Fireworks
Parade of dreams
And he says when wait times are down. Thats a big plus for me. He also shares facts and other stuff. I belevie that they sold them for $30-$50 at WDW. And i even think u can rent them.

I think Disneyland is too small for a Pal Mickey. Disneyland doesn't have enough shows or attractions in the park. If the park was bigger, then I would count a Pal Mickey in Diseyland.

Well technically, the Disneyland has more attractions than any of the WDW parks.

^ But the amount of shows/attractions in WDW's 4 parks combined beats the amount of shows/attractions in DLR's 2 I believe.
