Question Scariest Experience at Disneyland?

What was the scariest expereince you have ever had at Disneyland in your entire life? It can be on an attraction, during a show, or just something scary in general. For me, it was the first time I went on Splash Mountain when I was 4 years old. My dad and I were the only ones on the ride. I was doing alright until the last drop. At the top I panicked and stood up. My dad pulled me back down and when I did, I slid forward and hit the seat in front of me. After that I was terrified of the ride until riding it again 6 years ago. Now the ride which I had my scariest experience on is my favorite.

I cant say that I have ever been scared at Disneyland. At least not really scared.

I have been afriad that R...DCT would be canceled, but I think thats a different kind of "scared".

-Jahan

P.S. Oh, yea--I have been afraid of being trampled in an crowd once.

When I was little the witch(I think it was a witch?) in Captain Eo scared the you know what outta me! My mom just had me take off the 3D glasses for the rest of the movie because I screamed at the top of my lungs when I saw that witch!

As for physically scared at DL, I wrote a very long, detailed post in the Worst DL Experience thread. Page 2, I believe

I got rather scared when I went on Splash Mountain for the first time. I think I was 7. I got a little nervous when the log it going up the lift to the big drop, but after going down the drop, I ended up loving it.

I don't know that I ever had a scary experience. Beside the fear that my knee was going to go out when a older big man landed on my knee that I've had 4 surgeries on. That was fun... And watching out for crowds, but as for rides, no scary times for me!

I used to be petrified of the Haunted Mansion. I don't think I ever got over it until I was at least 10 or 11. Now it's one of my favorite attractions.

When the Matterhorn was first built, it was a huge empty shell. The bobsleds made their way up a LOOOONNNNNGGGGG, very HIIIIGGGGGHHHHH climb to the top before circling down the mountain. I have no doubt my terror on that climb every time is the reason I'm afraid of heights, now. (The trip down was worth it, though, so I always went on it.) I'll never forget my relief when they enclosed the track, although I can still "feel" the climb and it reminds me of those past experiences.

I had a really scary experience once. I was about 7 and I was watching fireworks with my mom and dad. After the show, you know there are always huge crowds going out of DL, I was holding my mom's hand so I wouldn't get lost. But, everyone was pushing and shoving, so I got held back, which caused me to loose my mom. My dad was following us so one parent was in front of me and one was in back, but my dad got caught in the crowd too. I was terrified, everyone around me was so tall. I could hear my parents calling me, but of course i couldnt see them. I started crying, and one of the cast members that was managing the crowd took me over to a bench and sat down with me, she calmed me down and helped me search for my parents, it took about 2 hours (or so it seemed), or more likely 30 minutes. When we found them, I was so happy. My parents and I thanked the cast member and my mom and her became good friends. I am now almost 14 and I pretty much remember every detail of that experience, you just don't forget stuff like that

My sister witnessed a baby having a seizure on Main Street. The baby actually turned blue and purple, and her mother was hysterical. This was on a school band trip to the park, and miraculously, one of her friends knew how to keep the baby still and do, well, whatever you're supposed to do until help comes. The baby made it out just fine, but she said this was the worst Disneyland moment ever.
