I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this. My husband swears that there used to be remote control cars and remote control boats at Disneyland when we went back in 1990. I know they have remote control boats at the Disneyland hotel but he swears that both were in the park somewhere. I'm guessing that if they were there, they were somewhere around the sub lagoon and the old autopia somewhere and no longer exist. Does anybody remember these at Disneyland and where they were? Thanks! Also, if anybody has pictures or knows a site that does, that would be great too!

At Walt Disney World, Magic Kingdom Park, they have an attraction called Shruken Ned's boats.
At the Disneyland Hotel, they do have remote control mini-Jungle Cruise boats, but none in the park itself from what I recall. |

there actually were some in the park too.. but not like the boats or the remote controlled cars at the hotel i mentioned before...
In the Penny Arcade, back when it was fun (cough), it used to have actual up to date arcade stuff.. well one thing that it had in the back left corner was a clear plastic box thing and miniature, hotwheels sized race cars on a plastic track. You put your money in and raced them around the track and hoped they wouldn't fly off the track and break off because there was no way to reach your arm into the box and put them back on the track.. so if they came off no one could play it anymore until someone fixed it the RC cars at the hotel were bigger, typical sized remote control cars though on an open track and you're probably thinking of those. :P |

OMG I REMEMBER THE BOATS! Those were bleeping great. They have tons of remote control cars and boats at Knott's inside the park. I race pro rc cars now so I dont need them anymore lol but They are fun to go out to and try to drive them because they use full size steering wheels as opposed to the typical remote RC cars use. So my friends laugh at me when I suck with the steering wheels.
